At the annual Search On conference, Google representatives announced the expansion of multi-search into more than 70 languages in the next few months.
Recall that Google launched multi-search, the ability to search using an image and text refinement, in April. This made it much easier to find those things that users don’t have enough words to describe, whether it’s an unknown part of a bicycle, an item of clothing “exactly the same, only green” or a tie with the same print as on this shirt.
Multisearch is already working in English search worldwide. According to SearchEngines, people use it to find answers to more than 8 billion queries every month.
Until the end of autumn, the company plans to expand the possibilities of a new type of search with local results – users from the United States will be able to use the “multi-search near me” function.
NIX Solutions reminds that back at Search On 22, Google announced new product search capabilities, improved search suggestions, and an updated search for iOS.
